According to Bridgewater Associates’ fourth quarter 2015 13F filing with the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), Ray Dalio currently seems to be buying into emerging markets. In the fourth quarter of 2015, Dalio upped his stake in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO) and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (EEM). These emerging market funds constituted about 31.3% and 17.4%, respectively, of Bridgewater Associates’ portfolio as of December 31, 2015. That’s almost 50% invested in emerging market funds.
