Your profile is your public presence on Trusted Insight. Co-workers, friends, and peers can search for you, see your interests, send you messages and connect with you. We advise to keep your profile up to date to help people find you.

To make any changes to your profile, visit the Edit Profile page. You can get to this from the drop down menu visible when you click your name in the top right corner. You'll also find an Edit Profile button on your Profile Page, which you can get to by clicking your name or face, anywhere it appears on the site.

A complete profile is essential in building connections with members of our network of institutional investors. We ask that all users on Trusted Insight provide their full name, the firm they work for, their title and investor type. This information makes it easier for our users to judge others’ expertise and to connect with one another. It will also make it easier for you, as a completed profile helps us to suggest connections (e.g. disclosing your firm means we can connect you with your co-workers). A picture helps people find you in search results and lets them know you're really you.

You can also upload your résumé to your profile. With a résumé on your profile, you can apply for many of the jobs listed on Trusted Insight with a single click.

You can connect your social networks by choosing to login to Trusted Insight with your Google or LinkedIn accounts. Connecting your Google and LinkedIn accounts is safe, easy and convenient. We don't send any messages to your contacts (unless you tell us to), and it's the perfect way to start building your Trusted Insight network! It also allows you to login with a single click.

Trusted Insight has a number of privacy controls to help you control what you share with the community. You can choose to share your profile with the entire Trusted Insight network or make your profile completely private. To change your Privacy Settings, click here.

Every firm on Trusted Insight has its own firm page. If you’re the first person to sign up for Trusted Insight from your firm, you can create and customize your firm page. If you would like to transfer ownership of your page to another user, please contact us at contact@thetrustedinsight.com.

While viewing your Firm Profile, you can edit the description by clicking the “Edit Firm” button on the top right corner of the screen. There, you can add a description, the type of firm and location, customize the name and add your company logo to complete the page. On the “Edit Firm” page, you can also add other Trusted Insight users as employees.

Trusted Insight is a great source for investment news-- you can find articles on investing in alternatives, deals and acquisitions, fund performance and various institutional people moves. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

Trusted Insight newsletters ensures that you receive the top institutional investment news directly to your inbox. If you would like to manage your newsletter subscriptions to Trusted Insight, you will see a link in the bottom of the newsletters named “manage my subscriptions”. After clicking on the link, you will be directed to a newsletter preferences page where you’ll see checkboxes for each of our newsletters, and have the option to completely unsubscribe from all Trusted Insight communications. Click this link to be directed to your Newsletter Preferences.

The Events tab shows upcoming and past events held with Trusted Insight. Request an invite to the event by clicking Request an Invite. Afterwards, you can opt to put the event on your calendar by clicking Add to Cal.

You can post job postings that can be viewed by the entire Trusted Insight community. This guarantees that you only receive applications from qualified candidates. Your postings will be highlighted at the top of both our careers page and weekly email jobs newsletters. Job postings cost $499 every month. The Jobs section highlights the latest institutional investment jobs, and are available to view with a premium subscription. Sponsored job postings do not require a premium account to apply or view. If you cancel during a billed month, your service will continue until the end of the billing period.
