US private equity giants such as the Blackstone Group, KKR & Co and Bain Capital are competing with Government of Singapore Investment Corp and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board to acquire up to 10% of SBI Life Insurance. This will be one of the largest placements before an initial public offer since the financial crisis, bankers and analysts said.
