The project out in West Texas’ Pecos County broke ground in June 2015 and is the last plant that will completed as part of CPS Energy’s commitment to 400 megawatts of solar power under a 2012 agreement between CPS and OCI. In January, another project, the 106-megawatt Alamo 7 southeast of Haskell, sold for $227 million to ConEdison Development, a renewable energy development company, according to reports.
