KKR closed Asian Fund III on $9.3 billion for investments across the Asia Pacific region. Fund III expands on KKR’s Asia investment program, raising more than the $6 billion collected for Fund II. KKR and its employees contributed $800 million to the total. Leading global investment firm KKR today announced the final closing of KKR Asian Fund III (“the Fund”), a US$9.3 billion fund focused on investments in private equity transactions across the Asia Pacific region.
