<p>The quarterly venture capital funding in the region topped $9 billion for the first time since the fourth quarter of 2015. Asia saw over a half-dozen rounds over $300 million during the quarter, mostly within China. Of the top five VC investments in the quarter globally, Asian firms grabbed three of the spots.</p>
