nuTonomy, a software company founded by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) academics and McKinsey management consultants was the first to begin on the road testing of driverless taxi services in Singapore last year. Now, they are partnering with French carmaker Peugeot to test self-driving cars in Singapore. The company is backed by Highland Capital Partners, Singapore government authorities, Samsung Ventures and others.
