Y Combinator has a history of backing nonprofits, and it has selected a group that’s old — but very relevant in today’s society — to back. On Tuesday, the startup program announced it’ll be supporting the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), adding the organization to its roster of companies participating in its latest accelerator class.
