Australia's fastest-growing fast food company, burrito maker Guzman y Gomez, has wrapped up its search for a new investor. Street Talk can reveal Sydney-based private investment firm TDM Growth Partners will invest $44 million in the Mexican fast food company in return for a substantial minority stake. The equity injection is expected to help fund Guzman y Gomez's expansion plans, which include opening more stores in Australia and entering new offshore markets including the United States.
