Andreessen Horowitz partner Andrew Chen shared a video of his meeting with Sandbox VR, a location-based virtual reality startup, to give startups a "director's cut" look at how the firm handles pitch meetings. The video highlighted Sandbox VR's full investor deck, as well as Chen's feedback throughout the presentation. Andreessen Horowitz ultimately led the company's $68 million Series A in January. Chen said one of the reasons the firm chose to invest in Sandbox VR was the experience of trying the product, as well as the unit economics data CEO and cofounder Steve Zhao presented during the pitch meeting.
