<p>Energy sector specialist Pearl Energy Investments has raised $600 million in capital commitments for its second private equity fund, hitting the hard cap. </p>
<p>The new fund, named Pearl Energy Investments II, P. will make investments of between $25 million and $75 million into upstream, midstream and services companies in the North American energy sector, according to a statement.</p>
