Grinnell College has appointed Andrew Choquette as interim chief investment officer. He will lead the the college’s investment team as Scott Wilson leaves Grinnell to become chief investment officer of Washington University in St. Louis. Choquette, who has been director of investments for Grinnell since 2014, has contributed greatly to the college’s investment strategy for its endowment, which generated an annual return of 18.8 percent in fiscal 2017. The endowment stands at a record high value of $1.8 billion. Choquette has an economics degree from Grinnell and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is on industry magazine Trusted Insight’s current list of Top 30 Endowment Rising Stars.
