Greycroft Ventures participated in a seed round for prima, a CBD startup founded by Honest Company co-founder Christopher Gavigan. Greycroft partner Dana Settle spoke to Business Insider in an interview about how the firm got comfortable investing in CBD and why the industry is primed to explode. The firm participated in a $3.3 million seed funding round for prima, a CBD startup which is set to officially launch in March, along with New York-based venture firm Lerer Hippeau and a few undisclosed investors.
