Christian Weedbrook recently joined Jean-Sebastien Cournoyer at the Trusted Insight Summit 2019. Weedbrook is the founder and CEO of Xanadu, a photonic quantum computing and advanced artificial intelligence company based in Toronto. Cournoyer is the co-founder and partner at Real Ventures, the VC firm that helped turn Canada into a world-class center of innovation with projects like Founderfuel, Canada's leading accelerator. During the talk, they discussed the very basics of quantum computing; why asset allocators and managers should view this as the evolution of computing power; and the timeline for when investors could implement advanced quantum technology.
