Defy Partners has raised $151 million from 36 investors for its inaugural fund, according to a regulatory filing. The firm was founded by Trae Vassallo, formerly of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Neil Sequeira, a onetime managing director at General Catalyst Partners.
