The Credit Enhancement Fund, announced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley last Budget, is expected to be operational by the end of this fiscal, a senior Finance Ministry official said. The IIFCL-anchored fund will help raise credit rating of bonds floated by infrastructure companies and facilitate investments from long-term investors.
