Eyes edtech and e-gaming segments apart from core focus areas. : Chiratae Ventures, formerly known as IDG Ventures India, has started rolling out investments from its fourth fund and will be betting on up to 10-14 startups in the current financial year. Of this, the venture capital firm has already made investments in 8 firms so far this year. The VC fund will be pumping in anywhere between $500,000 and $7 million in these startups in the first cheque. Broadly, it will invest in 30-40 companies from the fourth fund in a couple of years.
