Managed Futures Lead, Credit Hedge Funds Down Again In November

The hedge fund industry produced an aggregate return of -0.26% in November, bringing YTD returns deeper into negative territory for 2015, -1.21%. The industry&rsquo;s last annual decline was 2011 when average returns were -4.99% and the S&amp;P rose +2.11%. Despite overall industry returns being negative in 2015, the distribution of returns across funds is very slightly in favor of positive performance (50.2% positive, 49.8% negative). Planning permission for new UK homes back to 2008 levels, but still not enough

Planning permission for new homes in the UK is at its highest level since 2008 but the system needs to deliver more sites more quickly to meet demand, according to new figures from the House Builders Federation. The figures show that 177,731 permissions were granted in the year to the end of the first quarter of 2014 with 43,926 in the first three months of the year alone.
