- Report directly to the Managing Director of Absolute Return and Credit, focusing on the absolute return portion of the Long Term Pool, which includes a wide variety of benchmark-agnostic investment strategies;
- Source, evaluate and monitor external investment managers across alternative strategies and asset classes;
- Work as an integral member of the broader investment team to research emerging investment themes;
- Prepare and present investment recommendations alongside senior staff;
- Train and mentor junior staff members;
- Complete special projects as directed by senior management.

Required Skills:
- A broad understanding of absolute return managers and strategies and 3 to 5 years of related professional work experience, preferably in manager selection;
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, and an enthusiasm to collaborate and learn alongside an experienced investment team;
- An ability and desire to establish effective working relationships with external managers and other constituents;
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to comprehend broader market trends;
- Deep and broad quantitative skills are highly attractive, but not required;
- Undergraduate degree and excellent academic credentials;
- CFA certification or working towards a CFA certification a plus.
