Nicole Belytschko is the Chief Investment Officer at C.M. Capital. Previously, she was an investment manager with Comprehensive Financial Management, a large West Coast multi-family office. Prior to that, she worked with Scient in developing the firm’s corporate venture arm and leading direct investments in technology companies and was a member of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette’s Private Fund Group, where she marketed and distributed alternative investment products. Belytschko holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, and a BA, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
David Lee is the Chief Investment Officer at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, where he has served since January 2019. Previously, he was managing director at Princeton University Investment Company for over 8 years. Prior to that, he was a summer associate at Harvard Management Company. Lee holds an MBA from Yale School of Management, an MSc degree from the University of Reading, and a BSc degree in economics from the University of York.
Andrew B. Cohen is the Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder of Cohen Private Ventures which invests long-term capital, primarily in direct private investments and other opportunistic transactions, and manages family office activities, on behalf of Steven A. Cohen and his family. Prior to his position with Cohen Private Ventures, Mr. Cohen was an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at the Firm from 2002 to 2005, investing in public equities and debt securities. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Cohen was a Partner and Managing Director of Dune Capital Management LP, an investment management firm based in New York City. Mr. Cohen began his career at Morgan Stanley where he was an Analyst in the real estate department and principal investing group (MSREF) and then an Associate in the mergers and acquisitions group post business school. Mr. Cohen received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cohen is the Vice Chairman, member of the board of directors, and a minority owner of the New York Mets Baseball Club. He is a member of the board of directors of several public and private companies including Laureate Education, Inc. and Republic First Bancorp, Inc. Mr. Cohen serves on the National Advisory Board of the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics.
McCall Cravens is chief investment officer of the Heinz Family Office, a position she assumed in 2019. Prior to joining Heinz, Cravens was CIO of the Hunt Investment Group from 2015-2019, and a managing director at the Southern Methodist University endowment from 2010-2015. Previously, Cravens held positions at Lehman Brothers and Pamlico Capital. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and engineering from Vanderbilt.
Michael Hyun is the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Crow Holdings where he is responsible for business development and strategic investment initiatives. He has been affiliated with the firm since 2019. Prior to joining, Michael founded Graphene Group, an investment advisory platform partnering with a range of institutions and operators on investments, corporate strategy and capital raising. Prior to founding Graphene, Michael was the Chief Investment Officer, Executive Vice President at Brixmor Property Group, the largest owner of grocery-anchored retail centers in the U.S. where he led investment strategy and portfolio management. Michael earned his B.S. in Economics at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School, where he graduated with honors. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and member of the Horace Mann School Alumni Council and the New York CFA Society.
John Lustgarten serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Summit Equity Investments and President of Snowmass Capital, a real estate investor and advisor. He has participated in over $11 billion of real estate and corporate finance transactions as both an investor and a lender. In his previous role as Director at Lowe Enterprises Investors, an investment manager with over $3 billion under management, he played a key role in raising and investing approximately $240 million of institutional, discretionary private equity funds in hospitality and multifamily assets. He is a volunteer mentor for the UCLA School of Law and the UCLA Anderson School of Management. John obtained his BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Daphne Richards is the President and Chief Investment Officer at Ledge Harbor Management Inc. She has served the private family investment office since 2016. She is also an independent board director at Cartica Management LLC and at Cohen and Steers. Prior to these roles, she was a managing partner at Anson Ways Advisors LLC. Richards holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from Georgetown University.
Sandy Schwartz is the chief executive officer of the Cox Family Office. In this role, he uses his 36 years of experience and business acumen to help guide family investments for the company's shareholders and oversees governance, estate planning and family services. Schwartz also oversees Cox newspapers in Atlanta and Dayton, Ohio. Prior to his role at the Cox Family Office, Schwartz was the president and CEO of Cox Automotive. Schwartz brought the company’s auto brands under one umbrella, accelerated digitization and innovation and led the acquisition of Dealertrack and Dealer.com, the largest in Cox’s history.
Kevin Lavelle joined The Hillman Company in 2008 as an Investment Manager and was appointed Managing Director in 2012. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2018 and in 2020 became President and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining the Company, he was an Associate in the Investment Consulting division of Wilshire Associates and a Credit Analyst for National City Bank. He received a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Willie Stewart is the Chief Investment Officer of Gupta Capital Group where he oversees its overall investment strategy and leads its merger and acquisition activities. He also serves as an internal resource to our portfolio companies on strategy and growth initiatives. Prior to joining Gupta Capital in 2018, Willie spent 11 years with the family office of Nelson Bunker Hunt in Dallas where he served in various roles including as an Advisory Board Member. In these roles he focused on direct private investments in the oil and gas sector where he was involved in dozens of completed transactions and helped manage a diverse multi asset class investment portfolio. He holds a BS in Economics with Finance Applications from Southern Methodist University and an MBA with concentration in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Terra Fuller is the Chief Investment Officer at Pritzker Group Asset Management leading the firm’s activities in public markets and investment partnerships with leading investment managers across asset classes. Prior to joining Pritzker Group, Terra was a Senior Vice President with Mesirow Advanced Strategies, a $14B fund of funds. At Mesirow, Terra led the firm’s hedged equity team where she had responsibility for approximately $5B of hedged equity assets comprised of 25 managers and held a vote on the firm’s investment committee for equity-related investments. Terra has over 15 years of investment experience in the hedge fund industry, having worked as an equity research analyst for Castle Creek Partners, Sangamon Trading and DAFNA Capital before joining Mesirow. Terra earned an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a BBA in Accounting with high distinction from the University of Michigan.
John Phelan is the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of MSD Capital, L.P. He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of MSD Partners, L.P. Prior to forming MSD Capital, he was a Principal for seven years at ESL Partners, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based investment firm. At ESL, he was responsible for ESL's Special Situation and Distressed Investments and helped grow the firm from $50 million to over $2 billion in assets under management. Prior to ESL, he was a Vice President in the Equity Group and was in charge of Acquisitions (Western Region) for the Zell-Merrill Lynch Real Estate Opportunity Funds. He began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he worked as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division. Phelan received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude with distinction from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. Phelan also holds a General Course degree with an emphasis in Economics and International Relations from The London School of Economics.
Marie Young is the deputy chief investment officer at Bayshore Global Management. Previously, she held the roles of director of investments and portfolio manager at Bayshore. Prior to that, she was a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. Young holds a B.A. in economics from Northwestern University.
Alan Chang is the chief investment officer at Builders Asset Management, the investment management arm of Builders Vision, a family office established to promote a humane and healthy planet. Previously, he was a partner and managing director at Capricorn Investment Group for over 15 years. Chang holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSE in electrical engineering and computer science from Duke University.
Suzi Kwon Cohen is the Chief Investment Officer at Mousse Partners Limited, where she has served since 2016. Previously, she was at GIC for over 10 years and held the roles of managing director and head of private equity for the Americas. Cohen holds an MBA from Standford University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Brown University.
Rick Anderson joined Hull Investments, LLC in 1999 and serves as the organization’s Chief Investment Officer, advising on strategic asset allocation and the collaborative development of profitable, shorter-term trading models. Rick began his career in finance as a securities analyst at The Value Line Investment Survey, one of the first firms to use statistical techniques for stock selection. While there, he became an editor and then portfolio manager of the flagship Value Line Fund and Value Line Income Fund. He was instrumental in developing the Strategic Asset Management Trust, Value Line’s first mutual fund to use stock and bond market forecasts to drive the asset allocation process. Rick went on to serve as managing director of Rothschild Asset Management, the New York affiliate of the French and British Rothschild Group. Rick received his MBA in Finance from New York University and his B.A. with Honors from the University of California at San Diego. Rick is a member of the management team of Hull Investments, LLC, a family office that serves three generations of the Hull family, and is not involved in management or decision making at HTAA, LLC.
Chuck Chai is the president and chief investment officer of Hillspire, LLC, a single-family office created in 2006 to manage the capital of Google co-founder Eric Schmidt. Previously, Chai served in the Treasury Department under the Obama Administration, was managing director and portfolio manager at Perry Capital and was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Chai holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford.
Sam Brill is the president and chief investment officer of Seventh Avenue Investments, a private equity investment vehicle for a multi-billion dollar single family office in New York. He is responsible for the private equity portion of the portfolio, including investments in established and growth-oriented business, real estate and distressed debt. Previously, he was the CIO and portfolio manager at Weismann Capital for nearly 14 years. Brill holds a B.S. degree in finance from Touro College.
Tony Graves has served Kemmons Wilson Companies as both the President of Wilson Investment Management and presently, as the Chief Investment Officer of the company. Prior to coming to KWC, Tony served as Executive Vice President at Consulting Services Group. After graduating from UT-Knoxville Tony returned to Memphis to begin his career in finance. During these years he also acquired a certification in financial planning from Christian Brothers University. Passionate about his hometown Tony has served on the board of multiple philanthropy boards such as BRIDGES, USA, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Foundation, and West Tennessee Endowment Corp.
