Victor is the co-founder and President of ArcSec Technologies, LLC. ArcSec is a technology company in the waste-to-energy (WtE) sector. Victor is also an advisor to Cross River Group of companies on structuring, financial modeling and origination. Victor is also an advisor to Inventiv Capital Management, a Private Equity firm, on Risk Management and Financial Modeling. He has also served as interim CFO / risk manager for several emerging growth companies.
Victor has over twenty-five years of financial industry experience, including working as the Chief Investment Officer or as a senior executive in institutional asset management at several top-tier financial firms. His last executive position in finance was in London as the President of Capula Investment Management, the world’s premier global fixed income hedge fund. Throughout the 1990s he was the Chief Investment Officer of Smith Barney Global Capital Management and Salomon Smith Barney Asset Management (in London). His portfolio management teams managed over $11 billion in institutional and mutual fund assets. Then in 2000 as the new COO-Institutional of Citigroup Asset Management Victor had responsibility for the institutional asset management business of Citigroup with more than $150 billion of institutional assets under management.
Earlier in his career at JP Morgan Victor was the Head of Market Strategies Research in London. He also created and launched the world-renowned benchmark for performance measurement called the JP Morgan Global Traded Bond Indices. Victor also started the Fixed Income Index Derivatives business at JP Morgan in 1992.
In 2009, after leaving Capula and returning to the USA, Victor traded his personal portfolio, as well as engaged in advisory work, including capital raising, for several emerging growth companies. He served as one company’s CFO from 2009 - 2010. From 2004 thru 2007 Victor ran his own asset management firm, TrinityCapM Ltd (TCM), after partnering with and selling a 20% stake in TCM to Monte dei Paschi di Siena, the oldest bank in the world.
Victor is an expert in asset allocation, econometrics, and financial modeling. Before coming to Wall Street in 1982 Victor ran Project Link at the University of Pennsylvania for the 1980 Economics Nobel Laureate, Professor Lawrence R. Klein, serving as one of Klein’s closest protégés during the years leading up to his Nobel award. He was an Adjunct Professor of Economics at New York University. He has 18 published papers in journals as prestigious as the Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Journal of International Securities Markets, and Financial Analysts Journal, as well as in books specializing in International Economics and Finance.
