Suzanne Tavill is responsible for AMP Capital's illiquid alternative investment program, housed with the Multi Asset Group. This encompasses investments in private equity, infrastructure and a range of other alternatives sectors such as agriculture and asset leasing. Suzanne is the senior portfolio manager for the Future Directions Private Equity Fund; the Future Directions Infrastructure Fund and the Future Directions Opportunistic Fund. All funds are global in nature and incorporate the use of specialist managers; secondaries and co-investments. Suzanne joined AMP Capital in early 2008, prior to which she had spent five years at van Eyk Research, Sydney, the last four as Head of Research. Before moving to Australia, she was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Investment Management, responsible for their UK small and mid cap portfolios. She was also a member of the European small and mid cap and UK all cap teams. Suzanne has a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics, in addition to a Bachelor of Business Science with Honours in Economics and Honours in Finance from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
