Scott L. Wilson is the Chief Investment Officer for Washington University in St. Louis. In this role, he evaluates global investment themes and strategies within equities, fixed income, real assets, and alternative investments. He is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic asset allocation for the University’s endowment, evaluating current and potential investment opportunities and successful communication with the broader Washington University in St. Louis community. Prior to joining Washington University in St. Louis in 2017, Scott served as Chief Investment Officer and Director of Investments for Grinnell College. Previously Scott was Head of Rates Option Trading for Barclays Capital Japan and held various trading and quant roles at Bank of America Securities in Tokyo, Chicago and London focused on interest rate, equity and currency derivatives. Scott also previously worked as an equity research analyst for Merrill Lynch & Credit Suisse First Boston. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics, with honors, from Grinnell College and also attended the graduate program in Financial Mathematics at the University of Chicago. Scott is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
