Partha Chakraborty, Ph.D., CFA
Dr. Partha Chakraborty is an inventor and serial entrepreneur . He is currently CEO of an early stage startup Switchboard Systems, Inc. (SBS) that develops Blockchain 3.0 applications solving the problem of trust online. SBS is based on Open Mustard Seed, a protocol developed in collaboration with MIT Media Lab, helping create Self Sovereign Identity online. At SBS we are pursuing multiple revenue opportunities that showcase a technology that has a moonshot potential of being the “operating system” of P2P Internet. His previous experience includes leadership roles covering all parts of investment management value chain, across multiple asset classes, geographies and client bases, including as an entrepreneur. Partha attended Harvard Business School Executive Program for Senior Investment Managers, has a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York as well as degrees in Statistics and Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. During graduate school at Cornell, Partha co-founded an Internet startup called Bookwormbooks.com. Partha is a CFA Charter holder and is a member of the CFA Society. Partha has already lived and worked in six different countries and currently lives in California.
