Michael Karris founded EndowBridge® Capital in 2013 with a mission to help small to mid-sized endowments & foundations by improving their investment solutions while delivering superior risk-adjusted returns via a much simpler index balanced fund strategy and vehicle.
Previously, Michael was a Director of Investments/Trading at Columbia University's endowment, where he spearheaded programs for beta rebalancing, hedging overlay strategies, and transition management. He also developed analytical tools for risk management and performance attribution.
Michael also formerly worked at JP Morgan Asset Management as a product specialist in the Stable Value and Long Duration fixed income teams, focusing on portfolio management, client service, and analytics for defined contribution and defined benefit pension plans.
Prior to this, he worked in global fixed income sales at BNP Paribas, covering US fund managers, hedge funds, and private banking clients. Michael has extensive experience in capital markets, working with institutional investors across many asset classes since 1993.
He earned an M.B.A. in finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Michael is a registered investment adviser (RIA) and holds a NASD Series 65 license.
