Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. Mark joined the University of Chicago in July 2009. He is responsible for the investment of the Universitys endowment and other financial assets and for the day-to-day management of the investment office and its staff. From 2003 to 2009, Mark was Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for The Boeing Company. Prior to that he worked for DaimlerChrysler Corporation for 17 years in various accounting, finance and treasury positions, including Treasurer at Chrysler Canada. During his last six years with the company, Mark was the CIO of retirement assets. He has also worked in public accounting with KPMG as an auditor for five years. Mark graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Detroit Mercy. He received an M.B.A. in Finance from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and is a Certified Public Accountant.
