Kelvin joined Invesco Private Capital in 2006 and is a member of the investment committee. IPC is the Fund-of-Funds unit within Invesco, a global asset manager with over $600b of asset under management. Over the nearly 30 year history, IPC has demonstrated a strong track record of navigating the ever-changing marketplace. Since inception, IPC has committed over $4 billion to more than 450 private equity partnerships globally.
Prior to joining IPC, Kelvin was the Director of North American Operations for TIF Ventures, a Singapore sovereign wealth fund with $1.3 billion under management. In this capacity, Kelvin represented TIF Ventures’ investment efforts in the US. Being a member of TIF Ventures’ founding team, Kelvin was instrumental in establishing its presence and industry network in the US.
Kelvin received an MBA (Finance) with Honors from The Wharton School. He also earned a B. Eng (1st Class Honors) and an M.S. degree in Management, both from the National University of Singapore. Kelvin Liu is also a CFA charterholder.
