Jonathon Allen
Jon is a Senior Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton focusing on cyber and security capabilities for commercial and international clients. Jon has led security assessment teams worldwide specific to corporate espionage and assessing cyber security programs for Fortune 500 companies. His most recent commercial engaged have included leading teams and supporting General Electric, a super major oil & gas company, a major financial institution, a large automotive manufacturer, and MLB. Prior to joining Booz Allen’s commercial practice, Jon assisted in reestablishing the firm's commercial business in the Middle East, and previously supported the U.S. Government clients within the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) developing resiliency and risk practices to protect US critical infrastructure. Government accounts Jon led included US Africa Command, the National-Geospatial Intelligence Agency Mission Assurance program, a strategic risk management program for DHS, and special studies for the IC. Jon also leads Booz Allen’s Mission Assurance Community of Practice managing the development of the firm’s resiliency capabilities and coordinating a team of 300 strategic risk, crisis management, and continuity experts.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Jon served as a Ranger Qualified, U.S. Army Infantry Officer with assignments in Georgia, Korea, Washington, DC, and Texas—to include serving as the Senior Army Social Aide to President Clinton and commanding an infantry company with the 1st Cavalry Division. Following company command in 2002 he joined Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, Virginia.
Jon received his BA from Norwich University, an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University. He is a Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations sitting on the Term Member Advisory Council, and is the Chairman of the Board of Fellows for the College of Liberal Arts at Norwich University—the oldest private military college in the United States—located in Northfield, VT.
