Bloom was a Principal at private equity firm Tinicum Capital Partners from 2006-2011. Tinicum, a $1.5 billion fund, invests primarily in manufacturing and industrial businesses. Prior to Tinicum, Bloom ran Strategy & Business Development at FEI Women's Health, acquired by Barr Laboratories for $280 million. Prior to FEI, he ran Sales & Marketing at ShareBuilder, acquired by ING Direct for $220 million. Bloom is a graduate of Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and of the Colorado College (magna cum laude, phi beta kappa).
