David Cohen
I wanted to be a doctor at an early age, but things didn't quite work out that way. Having always been attracted to technology, I've found my true calling working in the dynamic media communications business. Through the years I have been primarily focused on digital communications, but more recently have been involved in bringing digital sensibilities to the traditional media world. Technology is radically changing the relationship between consumers and Brands, and I have a courtside seat.
Today I am responsible for maintaining our global digital community as well as leading integrated investment across all channels in the US. In addition, I lead the MAGNA Global Partner Council - driving global relationships (for IPG Mediabrands) across our most strategic partners. A truly exciting job with challenges and rewards daily.
Through the years, I have worked across many industries, from consumer package goods to technology, retail and beyond. Some of the Brands I have worked with include Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Sony, Microsoft, Chrysler, MasterCard, L'Oreal, Verizon, Kohl's, Intel, Lowe's, Wendy's, US Army, Brown Forman, and Bacardi to name a few.
In 2012, I was named a Media All-Star as well as one of the "Adweek 50 movers and shakers" in the world of marketing. I stay busy leading the 4A's Interactive Marketing Committee as Chairman and led Project Reinvention, a joint 4A's/IAB taskforce to improve business processes and workflow efficiency in the digital space.
