Daniel E. Feder, CFA Dan is the Senior Investment Manager for Private Equity and Venture Capital at Covariance Capital Management, an independent subsidiary of TIAA-CREF that provides outsourced investment management services to clients with long investments horizons, such as endowments and foundations. Previously, Dan was the Managing Director of Private Markets for the Sequoia Capital Heritage Fund where he helped develop an endowment style (multi-asset class) investment management service sponsored by Sequoia Capital. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital, Dan was the Managing Director of private equity and venture capital with the Princeton University Investment Company (“Princo”) – the investment office for Princeton University’s endowment. Dan holds a B.A. cum laude in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, a J.D. cum laude from the Boston University School of Law, and an M.A. in Economics from Trinity College. He is a Fellow in the American College of Investment Counsel and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Dan serves on the Investment Committee of the University of Massachusetts Foundation.
