"As a principal of Armstrong, Fleming & Moore, Inc., Chris provides individuals and couples with personalized and comprehensive financial planning services, including guidance on investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning issues, as well as other wealth management needs.
Chris earned a degree in finance from the University of Maryland. After graduation, Chris joined Armstrong,
Welch & MacIntyre, a precursor to AFM, as a portfolio analyst. He served in that capacity for seven years,
working primarily with Alex Armstrong. He then earned his CFP® certificate and began seeing clients of his own
on a daily basis.
Chris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certificant and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities registrations as a Registered Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, as well as various state insurance licenses. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association's National Capital Area chapter. He has been quoted in the Washington Times, and has spoken at DC area schools on financial planning topics.
In addition to his work with clients, Chris is the editor of AFM's Financial Strategies newsletter and is a member of the AFM Investment Committee.
Chris and his wife, Caroline, grew up in Rockville, Maryland. They currently live in Silver Spring, Maryland, with their daughter Annie, son Billy, and Oliver, their yellow lab. In the little free time he has, Chris likes to read fiction and history. He is an avid collector of music, a mediocre golfer, and a passionate fan of the University of Maryland and local pro sports teams."
