Andrew Hauptman

Andrew Hauptman is the Chairman of Andell Holdings, a private investment firm and family office with global business and investment interests. Mr. Hauptman has oversight of the firm’s investment, operating and sports and entertainment businesses. He is owner and Chairman of Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire and serves on the league’s Board of Governors. Mr. Hauptman is also on the Board of Directors of several privately held and publicly traded companies including Storage Mobility, the nation's largest franchisee of Portable On Demand Storage (PODS). Mr. Hauptman is also dedicated to various philanthropic and civic service efforts; he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Zoe Saidye Hauptman Memorial Fund, The Hauptman Family Foundation, The Charles Bronfman Prize, and is a member of the Yale University Council, an advisory board to Yale's President. He is also Chairman and Co-Founder of City Year Los Angeles and serves as a Trustee on City Year’s national Board of Directors. Mr. Hauptman produces feature films through his production company Andell Entertainment; he recently produced State of Play, starring Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck. He has also served as an executive with Universal Studios in London, playing a key role in the oversight of its international operations of the music and filmed entertainment groups. Early in his career, Mr. Hauptman worked in restructuring and mergers and acquisitions with Alex. Brown & Sons in New York. He holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from Yale University.
