Maureen H. Westgard will retire from the Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) after more than 12 years leading the state’s largest public pension system. Her retirement is effective December 31, 2017.<br />

Westgard became TRSL director in August 2005, and has become a familiar and trusted voice in Louisiana for her work with state legislators to provide retirement security to the state’s educational community.
