Uber Technologies Inc. priced its initial public offering at $45 a share Thursday afternoon, and will bring in at least $8.1 billion in the biggest IPO in years. The ride-hailing company announced that it intends to sell 180 million shares at that price, which is toward the lower end of its stated range of $44 to $50. Underwriters, led by Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and BofA Merrill Lynch, have access to another 27 million shares to cover overallotments. At the IPO price, Uber would have an initial valuation topping $75 billion.
