The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) Board of Trustees appointed Jerry Albright July 13, 2017 as the agency’s new chief investment officer (CIO). The announcement follows last month’s decision by former TRS CIO Thomas “Britt” Harris to accept an offer to serve as chief executive officer for The University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO).
