TreeHouse Foods Inc. said late Monday it has agreed to sell its snack division to private-equity company Atlas Holdings LLC for $90 million. It plans to use the sale's proceeds to pay down debt, it said. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter, and TreeHouse plans to update its full-year guidance to reflect the agreement at its second-quarter earnings scheduled for August. TreeHouse's snacks division is one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of private-label snacks such as nuts and trail mixes, the company said.
