<p>Savant Capital Management, an independent registered investment advisory (RIA) firm headquartered in Rockford, Ill., will acquire The Corcoran Group, a Bethesda, Md., based RIA firm at the end of September, Savant announced Monday.<br /> <br /> The Corcoran Group primarily serves high- to ultra-high-net-worth, senior-level corporate executives for publicly traded and private equity companies. Phil Corcoran, The Corcoran Group president, and Joel Cundick, vice president, will join the advisory team in Savant&rsquo;s McLean, Va., office.
