ICG says deal for Waterhouse Gardens highlights strength of Manchester's economy. :
Property developer Salboy has secured a £100m loan to back its development on the former Boddingtons Brewery site in Manchester. ICG Real Estate, the real estate division of asset manager ICG, has loaned the £100m to Salboy to fund the 556-home Waterhouse Gardens scheme on the edge of the city centre next to Strangeways - and says the move shows the strength of Manchester's economy. Work on the project has started and Salboy aims to complete it by 2026.
