Alpenglow Rail Services Corp. and partner Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure announced yesterday they've acquired Alberta Midland Railway Terminal Ltd. (AMRT), a rail terminal in Alberta, Canada. AMRT is a dual-served rail terminal near Edmonton that spans 300 acres and offers more than 1,400 rail-car storage spots and a unit train-capable loop track, Alpenglow officials said in a press release. The terminal offers connections to Canadian Pacific and CN and specializes in rail-car staging and storage-in-transit to blue-chip industrial customers. Under the new ownership, AMRT will expand its third-party logistics offerings to include end-to-end transloading and rail-car cleaning and repair.
