Private equity firm Quadrant has snapped up a stake in smart phone mount startup Quad Lock. : Quadrant Private Equity, the majority owner of cosmetics retailer Adore Beauty and restaurant group Rockpool Dining, is in advanced talks over an investment into smartphone mount startup Quad Lock. The investment comes from Quadrant Private Equity's $400 million growth fund which is run by Justin Ryan and Simon Pither. Quadrant founder and chairman Chris Hadley said the deal was "going to complete any day". Quad Lock founder Rob Ward,(left) and Chris Peters launched a crowdfunding campaign in 2011 to fund their startup.
