Morgenthaler Private Equity announced the recapitalization of B&E Group LLC, an aerospace-focused maintenance and manufacturing company co-headquartered in Southwick, Mass., and Fort Myers, Fla. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. B&E’s two business units comprise repair and manufacturing centers working on machined components used in commercial aerospace, military and space applications. Morgenthaler partnered with B&E’s existing shareholders and senior management team in the restructuring, including CEO John Wilander and chief operating officer Paul Tobias, who both joined the company’s board of directors.
