Levi Strauss & Co. priced its initial public offering at $17 a share Wednesday afternoon, and will raise more than $600 million. The iconic San Francisco blue-jeans company had expected to price shares at $14 to $16, according to an earlier filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company said it would sell about 36.7 million shares, with roughly 9.5 million coming from the company and about 27.2 million coming from selling stockholders, for a total raise of $623.3 million.
