Investcorp has acquired the hedge fund of funds business of absolute return specialist SSARIS Advisors. The deal, which was effective Monday, includes four key members of SSAIRIS’ hedge fund of funds investment team. Andrew Fisch, CIO for the team, will become a senior portfolio manager of the SSARIS hedge fund of funds strategies within Investcorp’s investment department. Joining him will be portfolio managers David Ahn and Jerett Yelton and hedge fund analyst Michael Malvarosa.  Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
