iM Global Partner, a global asset management network headquartered in Paris, has taken a 45% stake in Richard Bernstein Advisors, a New York-based investment management firm that specializes in asset allocation. RBA, headed by its namesake, had $14.6 billion in combined assets under management (AUM) and under administration as of June, according to the joint announcement. RBA’s latest Form ADV filed in early May lists $4.7 billion in discretionary assets, known as AUM. The iM Global Partner investment represents “the formation of a very powerful symbiotic relationship” between the two firms, Bernstein said in a statement.
