After posting negative returns throughout Q3, the Preqin All-Strategies Hedge Fund Benchmark returned to positive territory in the first month of the final quarter of the year with a gain of 2.07 per cent in October. All top-level strategies and geographic regions posted positive performance, with equity strategies returning 3.12 per cent, and North American funds returning 2.53 per cent. Nearly all strategies and geographies are now showing positive performance across year-to-date and 12-month horizons.
