Following four weeks of net buying, Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s hedge fund clients began to sell stocks following institutional clients who have been net sellers for five straight weeks. These figures come from last week’s Bank of America’s Equity Client Flow Trends report. The weekly report, which details equity transactions among Bank of America’s clients, shows that while hedge funds and institutional investors were selling equities, private clients were small net buyers for the fourth straight week running.
