JP Morgan’s former head of manager selection, Michael Gubenko, has joined hedge fund firm Sculptor Capital Management as head of its global investor relations team. Sculptor Capital Management is the new name for hedge fund giant Och-Ziff following a rebrand earlier this month. The change in name for the firm follows a period of upheaval during which it settled criminal charges related to a former employee, suffered outflows and revamped its leadership team. Gubenko left JPM in July and has joined Sculptor Capital Management as global head of wealth management.
