FedEx Starts Its Own Investment Company, SEC Filings Show

by trusted insight posted 3years ago 1257 views
The global market turmoil hasn't stopped all fundraising in their tracks.

FedEx, the global courier and logistics company, enters the fray today with an SEC Filing for a new investment company. Titled 'FedEx Alternative Investments I, LP', the investment arm will be headed by Michael Brandmeyer whose LinkedIn profile mentions that he is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs.

Brandmeyer held a high-profile role as one of the two fund-managers at Petershill, a Goldman hedge-fund investment vehicle. The other names mentioned in the form D filing are Harold Hope and Christopher Kojima, both execs at Goldman Sachs.

The news was first reported by the blog StrictlyVC.
