Hassan Bassiri’s exit comes months after the firm shuttered its Digital Yield Fund, citing market volatility. : Hassan Bassiri, the vice president of portfolio management at crypto hedge fund Arca, has left the firm. His profile is absent from Arca’s team page and a person close to the company confirmed his exit to CoinDesk. The timing and reason for Bassiri’s departure weren’t disclosed. Before joining Arca he spent a decade at Big Four accounting firm KPMG on the mergers and acquisitions team, including a stint as a decentralized finance (DeFi) analyst.
